using Audacity 2.x.x sound blaster audigy guitarLink USB old dell P4 Win XP
got Audacity to play nice (really got my rig to play nice...)
want to be able to add effects to individual tracks without affecting all tracks.
using ZOOM thingy between guitar and link.
any help would be awesome. got this far because of the forum and trying to build DAW on the cheap!!

Effects can be applied to one or more tracks or parts of one or more tracks by "selecting" (highlighting) the audio that you wish to apply the effect to. See here about Audacity Selection http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Audacity_Selection
