That is an oxymoron.
The language used in Audacity documentation is Americanised English. Personally I'd prefer that they used English, but at least it is not all written in abbreviations and smilies.

The first line of their home page says:

I wonder what their company motto is.

No need to apologise, I think we should translate the Audacity manual to pidgin english, then even people like suunchild will have a chance to understand.
