Dear All,
I was at a concert last night and attempted to record some clips, but it seems the audio level was too loud, so the recording has not come out that well. I am attaching a short clip.
Is there any way I can salvage this in Audacity?
The clip is in AMR format.
Any sort of improvement would be much appreciated.
Many thanks for your help,
childofsai

Re: How to Edit a Recording at too loud a level
That's what is called a "clipped" recording. The recording equipment (mobile phone or iWotsit?) has been over-loaded with signal. When it's that bad, I'm afraid there's nothing you can do to get a good recording from it.
