Unwanted echo effect on recording (SOLVED)
Windows Vista Home Basic, 32 bit, AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+ 2.20 GHz, 1.00 GB RAM. I installed Audacity 2.0.0 last night from the .exe installer, recorded a piece of music from Classic FM, exported the WAV file and felt very pleased with myself. Today, once Audacity is recording ( again Classic FM ), the sound that I am hearing is like several tracks very slightly out of synch like an echo, and this is also being recorded. Any ideas please?
Re: Unwanted echo effect on recording
Looking through other responses for inspiration, I went to Edit/Preferences/Recording and unchecked the software playthrough ( like it says
- dohhh ).
