Acer Aspire 5755G- os WIN 7 64 bit
Installed Audacity 2.0 from .exe
Installed the 64 bit version of the numark dj io sw (downloaded from Numark site)
The pc sees the numarc external card.
Audacity sees the external card.
Once the card is selected for recording I obtain the error "error while opening the sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate"
Tried to change settings but no results at all.
Is the card compatible with Audacity or there is a problem with Casio drivers.
Any solution?
Thank you

Re: numark dj io
Try setting Audacity Preferences to 44100, 16-bit, Stereo. That's the specification for Music CD and it's almost universal. You might run into problems if the mixer is set for multiple channel, not just stereo. A very common problem with USB microphones is the mismatch where the microphone is mono and Audacity is set for stereo. That will fail with no explanation given.

Re: numark dj io
Unfortunately does not work. The card is 4100 24 bit and for what i know, there is no way to change it.
Anyway a tried all the possible combination but without results.
I think I'm not the only one in the word to face this problem!
I tried also the card on another PC with XP. Same problem, same message.
Thanks
