Play Back Problem
I am using the new version I downloaded from the web. I also use Windows XP with service pack 3. I am using a vibe usb turn table. After exporting the files as mp3. when I play them back..........It does not sound right. It sounds like when it records, the audio is a few seconds behind, so it plays the recorded track with the audio repeating a few seconds later. Like one track is trying to catch up with the other. I have tried everything I can think of but it happens every time. Any one else have this problem or know how to solve it? Any and all help appreciated, as I am a newbie with this software.

Re: Play Back Problem
That's the kind of thing that can happen if you like to record internet songs and shows and don't turn those settings off. That messes up straight recording. Also that can happen if you're recording the microphone instead of the turntable.
In the Device Toolbar, make sure you're recording from the turntable (USB Audio Device, maybe?) and not Stereo-Mix, Wave-Out, or any of those other services.

Also, check your work after capture and before you do anything serious with it. Use nice headphones if you don't have a good sound system.

Re: Play Back Problem
All I see is a USB Microphone. nothing about a turn table.

Do you have a USB microphone connected?Chazwv wrote:All I see is a USB Microphone. nothing about a turn table.
If not, that option is probably the turntable. (it's probably the same USB chip as is used in USB microphones).
