Selection Tool Insensitivity (SOLVED)

Post by PMitchellUK » Thu Mar 22, 2012 9:24 am

Selection by mouse changed on my Vista PC a few days ago from continuous to 1 second increments. Zoom does not change the sensitivity. Is this affecting anyone else?

Look near the bottom of the main Audacity window in the "Selection Toolbar" (the bit with the selection time numbers).
Look for where it says "Snap To" and remove the tick.
When Snap To is enabled the selection will "snap" to the nearest time unit, so if the time units in the selection bar are seconds, the selection will snap to the nearest second.
