No db graph information shown on recorded track.

I use Windows 7 and have upgraded to Audacity 2.0.

I have recorded on the 3rd track down. When I play this segment there is the recorded signal, but there is no graphic representation on the screen. Will this track be successfully converted to a WAV file when I export it ? Thank you in advance for any assistance you might render.

Were you overdubbing? If you solo that track, does it play? Select the track and Effect > Amplify 1dB (anything to force Audacity to redraw the blue waves). Did either work?
