Audacity 3.2.2 does not remember the size setting of the level meters.

Hello all,

unfortunately I don’t know exactly how to report bugs, so I’ll try in this forum first.

I use a self-compiled version of Audacity with ASIO under Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Since version 3.2.2, the size setting of the level meters (screenshot 1) is apparently no longer saved when closing Audacity (screenshot 2). The position of the meters is saved correctly.

In version 3.2.1 this still worked correctly.

Since this is a somewhat annoying bug for me, I hope that the developers are reading this and that they will fix the problem in the next version of Audacity.

Thank you very much and best regards
Christian

This is a known bug that is logged on Muse’s GitHub bugtracker:
In 3.2.2 Mixer/Meter Controls Toolbars do not retain their sizing. Regression on 3.2.1 #4057

Ok, thank you Peter!

Now I know where I can check in the future to see if a bug is already known.

Best regards
Christian

Glad to be of help :sunglasses:

There are rather a lot of them … :unamused:

Peter.
