Reproducable crash with Auto Duck in macro

Hey!

My Audacity crashes when I want to edit the Auto Duck settings in a Macro.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Tools->Macro Manager
  2. New
  3. Insert->Auto Duck->Edit Parameters
    Crash

Or
3. Insert->Auto Duck->Ok
4. Select Auto Duck Step->Edit
Crash

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19045.2251]
Audacity 3.2.1

Can anyone confirm this? Or is it just me?

This is a known and logged bug that has already been fixed for the upcoming 3.2.2 release.

Thank you for the quick response and information!

Hello, the crash seems fixed now, thank you for that!

But I have a new issue now with Auto Duck in macros: When I want to edit the parameters of Auto Duck in a macro I now get the error: ‘Auto Duck needs a control track which must be placed below the selected track(s).’

I have a workaround to export the macro, edit the Auto Duck parameters and import the macro again. But I guess this should not be the case. :slight_smile:
