I installed v.3.2.0 today and find the Edit Toolbar no longer contains Cut, Copy and Paste buttons. Have they been removed? If so, why, or am I missing something?

Yes, Muse removed these in 3.2.0 to “simplify” the interface.

You can use the shortcuts:

  • Ctr l+ X is cut
    Ctrl + C is copy
    Ctrl + V is paste

which is waht most users use

Or use the commands in the Edit menu

If you want single key shortcuts you can always create custom shortcuts:

Thanks Peter, I didn’t think the interface was complicated. I’m aware of Ctrl+X, etc. but nearly always click the buttons with my mouse. Using the commands in the Edit menu involves more navigation, so I’ll regress to v. 3.1.3.

If you don’t want to move your mouse much, right-clicking in the track is even less cursor movement.
