Windows regional settings issue and solution

Dear Audacity community,

I write this post just in case anybody else will encounter this issue.
This issue might only be relevant to German users.

In my case, using noise reduction and other funcitions always resulted in errors (invalid values etc.).
I discovered that this error was due to using “.” as decimal separator (which can be changed in the regional settings).
The solution for me was to change back the decimal separator to “,” (the regional standard for German users).

Hope this helps.
And maybe this issue can also be resolved in future releases of Audacity.
