Audacity Forum

Hi there!
I'm using Windows10 and Audacity 3.0.2. My pc is only a few months old and I still have a lot of free space.
When I press the play button it stops working and then I have to crash it. Already downloaded the newest Audacity version and an older one and it happens with any of them.
Does anybody have an idea of what I should do? There's a lot of work in that project that I'm working on... I'd be very thankful.

What do you mean?
I'm working on that for weeks but since last morning it doesn't work anymore.
I record via microfonarray and I have a lot of tracks there. Might it just be too many? That was my latest thought. On the other hand there are by far less tracks than in any song I recorded on my old computer...

How many tracks (approximately) does the project have?

Before going further, best to make a copy of the project so that we can try things with the copy without the risk of adding more problems to the original:
1. Quit Audacity (and wait for Audacity to fully close).
2. Make a copy of the project "AUP3" file.
