In Audacity 3.0.0 on my Win7pro computer (enlarged Fonts, 125% , if it plays a role)
applying “Fit selection to width” leads to that the selection apparently sometimes does not exactly fit the visible wave window, such that playing the selection makes it scroll-jump, which is pretty uncomfortable.

Works fine for me on W10 with 3.0.0 and the latest Release Candidate build that I have for the upcoming 3.0.2 release.
