I have a Windows 7 PC on which Audacity works perfectly. I have now downloaded installed Audacity 3,0,0 on a new Windows 10 PC,
I have copied all the files from the old pC to the new one with the data files plus all MP3, MP4A and AUP files saved into Music/Audacity exactly on the old PC.
The program opens fine looking like before but whenever I try to open any of the above file formats I get the message "Failed to open the project’s database so can get no further.
Any advice will be welcome.
We have had a few similar reports.
Can you try the 3.0.2 Audacity Release Candidate RC02, here: Audacity devel download latest version ?
