monitor for L and or R not showing on playback

Help for Audacity on Windows.

monitor for L and or R not showing on playback

Audacity 2.3.3 win 7 64 bit.

The monitor for L and or R does not show when playing back only recording. At this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPFOVNYNMB4 it shows when he plays back. I have clicked beside the microphone icon and clicked start monitoring

I'm not sure what your question is. Is that your video, or are you trying to follow what someone else is demonstrating?
What exactly are you trying to do?

No it's not my video. You see how he can have the L and R monitor, the green band that moves as he speaks. I only have that on recording not on playback. He has it when he plays back his recording

EDIT Ok i solved it with view/toolbars/ticked Playback Meter Toolbar
