I made all the newbie mistakes

It's my first year as a choir teacher and my first time using Audacity, so I've made all the mistakes I'm now learning about in the forum. So 1) thanks for the forum, and 2) I have 2 projects that I'd like to know if they are savable. I have the .aup and the data files for both, and they are in the same location, but they won't open.

I know for the future not to use OneDrive and not to move or rename any files (I know I can move them together, but I will not risk it).

I'm attaching the files for one of the songs. Can you please help me? Thank you!

I am using Windows 10 and Audacity 2.3.3

Open one of the AUP files in a text editor (don't save anything) and read it. You should be able to dig through the semi-English code and see the name of the show.

It has to exactly match what you have.

If the AUP file doesn't look anything like that or is blank or all NUL NUL NUL or anything like that, then it doesn't look good.

Are these edited shows or raw recordings? If they're edits and the AUP is damaged or missing, that's the end of the world.

When you try to open up the shows what does Audacity say? There is usually a message.
