Hi.
Anyone able to help?
After upgrading Windows to Windows 10 Home - 20H2, when I start playback of WAV files in Audacity, the audio pops and crackles.
This is specific to the Windows WASAPI host in Audacity only. Does not have this behaviour for MME or Windows DirectSound or any other audio applications.
Happens in Audacity 2.4.2 and 3.0.0.
Thanks.

Re: Crackling audio on playback after Windows update
You could try updating your sound card drivers, but if it works OK with MME then I'd just leave the drivers alone and use MME.

Sound card drivers are up to date already.
Still need to check if loopback recording works properly as that's the reason I've been using WASAPI. If it is also affected, then that will be an issue for me!
