Buongiorno, ho un problema con un file audio m4a, ho installato Audacity 2.4.2, Lame 3.99.3 e ffmpeg 2.2.2.
Quando apro il file mi appare la dicitura: "è un file advanced audio coding, Audacity non può aprire questo tipo di file senza la libreria facoltativa FFmpeg, eppure risulta installata.
Sapete dirmi come posso risolvere per favore?
Con la versione più vecchia di Audacity il file si apre normalmente solo che è molto rumoroso e per questo motivo ho pensato che fosse meglio avere la versione aggiornata.

P.s. - sono molto inesperta e non ho mai usato Audacity ma ne ho necessità per utilizzare quel file.

To confirm FFmpeg is installed:
Edit -> Preferences -> Libraries and make sure you see "FFmpeg Library Version (F55, 33......)
If you're getting "pure noise" the file isn't getting decoded/decompressed properly. That might happen if it's not really an M4A file. If you get a very-short pure-noise file it's probably not getting decompressed at all. That will happen if you open a compressed file as "raw data".
FYI - LAME is not involved here. LAME is ONLY uses for creating/exporting-as MP3, and it's now built-into Audacity. It's not used for any other format and it's not used for opening/importing MP3s.

Ho verificato e mando uno screen in allegato della schermata che mi appare.
Se ho capito non risulta installata FFmpeg, ma nella pagina che si apre cliccando su "scarica" non so su quale link devo cliccare.

Note: As DVDdoug says, you do NOT need LAME.
