Most Efficient Way in Editing an Audacity File

Using Audacity 2.4.2 with Windows10

I have recorded 5 songs from a cassette and saved the resulting MP3 file in a folder on my computer. I wish to separate out each of the songs into each having its own MP3 file. The original recording is 25 mins in duration. Which is the most efficient way in producing 5 separate MP3 files?

BTW - I am impressed with the scope of Audacity :D :D

For next time, note that each time you convert from mp3 to mp3 there will be some (small) loss in the quality of sound. If you happened to save a .WAV file earlier, or if you happen to still have the original Audacity project still around you will gain fidelity.

There are reportedly some mp3 editors around that will allow you to cut and splice mp3 files directly with no inherent quality loss.

I hope this helps. :D
