Audacity Forum

Hello,

I'm new in Audacity and I'm trying to use the envelope tool and but when I try to move the cursor on the track it gives me the "blocked" icon.

Which exact version of Audacity? (look in: "Help menu > About Audacity")

Are you using the "Envelope Tool" or the "Multi-Tool"? (see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tools_toolbar.html)

Is playback "stopped" (It must be "stopped" not playing or paused).
