Time Track's effect are lost once a stereo track rendered with it undergoes another speed change

Windows 7, Audacity 2.4.2

created stereo track with noise
created Time Track
made the track go from 100% speed to 50% to 150%
rendered the stereo track
deleted Time Track
confirmed that the changes do work
changed stereo track's length back to what it originally was with Change Speed effect
stereo track lost the pitch changes it got with speed adjustments from Time Track :(

To change the speed without changing the pitch, use the "Change Tempo" effect (see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/change_tempo.html)
