Filter Curve is gone

Hello there!
I have downloaded multiple versions of audacity on my laptop, but I can not fins ''filter curve'' in the effect menu. What shall I do?

Do you have more than one version of Audacity installed?

I uninstalled and reinstalled audacity, sometimes newer versions and sometimes older versions.
It turned out that the plug-ins won't stay enabled, do you know how I can solve that? My audacity current version is 2-2-1.
I added the plug-in ''filter curve'' many times, but it stays disabled. My laptop has window 10 64 bit.

Uninstall all versions of Audacity from your computer.

Open the hidden folder:

Code: Select all

Users\\<username>\\AppData\\Roaming\\audacity\\

and delete these three files:

audacity.cfg
pluginregistry.cfg
pluginsettings.cfg

Download the "Audacity 2.4.2 installer" via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/
(on the FossHub download page, it's the text link: "Audacity Windows Installer")

Run the installer to install Audacity 2.4.2.
