running 2.4.2 on Win 10 Lenovo laptop
Open a new proj. Begin recording using a Samson G track Pro mic.
Wireless keyboard and mouse...logitech.
3 times out of 10...I get distorted HISS then a word or two....and more hiss..etc.
The wireless mouse and keyboard are shut down...have to stop the recording with the space bar on the laptop. then task mgr. to shut down Audacity.
Next start...is a guess if it will do the same.
Any suggestions

Re: When recording..overdriven HISS occurs.
It looks like your recording level is way too loud.
Follow the instructions in the Samson G track Pro manual to set the mic level correctly.
When you have done that, make another test recording and post a screenshot of the result.
