Hi there. I have just purchased a Reshow to transfer my tape cassettes to a laptop so I can put on my ipod.
I followed all the instructions in the Reshow manual and connected the Reshow via USB to the laptop and launched Audacity however Audacity didn't record the cassette song. It recorded me humming along to the tune together with my background noise.
What am I doing wrong?

You need to select the USB device as your Recording Device. Apparently you are recording the microphone built into your laptop.
