Hi , I am trying to open Audacity Version 2.0.3 in Windows 10 but get this message when clicking the icon after installation:
The system has detected that another copy of Audacity is running. Running two copies of Audacity simultaneously may cause data loss or may cause your system to crash. Use the New or Open commands in the currently running Audacity process to open multiple projects simultaneously
Not sure how to fix it, I tried deleting the audacity.cfg file as mentioned in another post but that didn't work. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, I noticed another thread saying someone couldn't record using Windows 10 so even if I can get past this hurdle is it likely it won't work anyway?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Re: Error message
It's a bug that was fixed a long time ago. The solution is to upgrade to the current Audacity 2.4.2.
