How to add a new track after first creating a click track?

Post by RoseisRose » Thu Nov 26, 2020 3:27 am

Hi there,

(I am new to this, but am trying hard -- please be kind.)

I just created a click track and now I want to record a song "below" it. I added a second track, but when I hit "record", instead of the new track beginning at "0", it begins at the end of the click track. How can I record the new audio track and still hear (and use) the click track?

Many thanks,
Rose

Hold Shift and press Record to record on a new track.

Please see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tra ... tml#record
