Group tracks in Audacity 2.3.2

Post by 4l3xb34st » Sun Nov 01, 2020 5:36 pm

I work with Audacity 2.3.2

I've got two tracks that are basically 2 parts of the same verse.

Track 1
Track 2

What I want to do is to group them, so they make one track on one line.

Track 1-2

The current version of Audacity is 2.4.2. It is available via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/

Audacity doesn't have "track groups", but you can "mix" tracks: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tra ... u_mix.html

You can also change the waveform color of some of the tracks: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/aud ... tml#colors

4l3xb34st,

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but you could try "Select->All" (Ctrl-A), "Tracks->Align Tracks->Align End To End", then "Tracks->Mix->Mix And Render". Also, see this post:
