Can you use the keyboard with the Time Shift Tool?

Is the mouse the only method for shifting a track with the time shift tool?

To move a selection using the keyboard only, you could cut the selection, tab through to the Selection Toolbar and set the cursor to where you want the audio to start, then paste (as with the Time Shift Tool, there must be space in the track at the destination).
