We’re pleased to announce release of Audacity 2.4.2 which replaces all previous versions for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Audacity 2.4.2 may be downloaded via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/
This is primarily a bug-fix release, in preparation for a longer release cycle with bigger changes.

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.
