I’m running Audacity 2.4.1 and I’m having difficulty recording audio to Audacity.
As an example; I open Audacity and then I open iTunes to use as an audio source. I then hit record in Audacity and no audio is recorded. The waveform on each of the stereo channels is flat and there is no audio on playback.
I’m using the default settings on Audacity, i.e. MME, Stereo Mix (Realtek High Definition), 2 channels and SB Audigy output. The soundcard is an integrated Realtek and I am aware that Audacity and Realtek don’t pair well together, maybe the issue lies there?
