I’ve been using Audacity for the last few years without any issues until earlier today. I can’t remember which version I had, not the current one, but it had let me know something about a latency issue. I looked it up and it was all too overwhelming to fix it so I decided a restart would work and it did not. I then thought, hey might as well just uninstall and install the latest version. This is where I am. LOVE THE NEW LOOK.
Here’s the matter,
when I open the program and press record I get these 2 red triangles and my mic doesn’t seem to pick up. Outside of the program, WINDOWS (I have 10) picks it up fine.
I’m not sure which trouble shooting I should follow as there are too many different situations. I’m not sure exactly what to do now. I can’t record, nor does my mic pick up. It was working fine yesterday and I did nothing differently to my computer, did not install anything. Everything is plugged in physically.
Any help would be great!
