That is one thing I noticed up the thread a little. The screen doesn't "switch" between displays. It does a three to five frame fade. That's a little odd. That could be an artifact of the video format compression.

Re: 2.4.1 Screen flashing
You're running two different browsers. I sometimes do that, too, but not at the same time.
Are they always looking at the same pages when this happens? Does the behavior happen if you open both browsers but disconnect the network? Does anything make a fuss if you disconnect the network?
What was the first OS on this machine?

Re: 2.4.1 Screen flashing
I run with two browsers open and active all the time on my W10 laptop: Firefox and Edge - and I get no such flashing.

Re: 2.4.1 Screen flashing
I wouldn't mind an answer to that one. There has to be something different about this machine that can cause this oddball behavior. Correct me, but this is a one-off. I've never heard of another complaint like this. What was the first OS on this machine?
Also see: disconnect the network and see what happens.
Any comment from a developer?

Re: 2.4.1 Screen flashing
Greetings All.
Thank you for your concern and suggestions for my problem.
Looks like version 2.4.2 fixed the problem.
Thanks Audacity Team!
Also, I'm delighted with the fix in the limiter bug. It now remembers my settings in Macros.
Cheers All.
