Hi, I have a problem with new audacity version: 2.4.1. When I start audacity, the logo appears for a while, the application doesn't start. In the task manager I see that the exe file is running, but nothing is happening. The previous version 2.3.3 worked, but I want a new one. I have Windows 8.1. On another PC with Windows 10, audacity 2.4.1 works great.

Try running the installer again, and select the option to "Reset Preferences" when it appears.
Resetting preferences "may" fix the problem - let us know what happens (I can't test myself as I don't have Windows 8)

I tryed it, but no changes.
