I am having issues with the sound. My sound glitches when I hit the record button. It repeats the same frequency over and over again when it passes certain areas, which causes deafening noises and annoying audios. I have no idea how this glitch occurred, but I have tried re-installing Audacity 2.3.3 over and over again, but it still glitches out. A little help will be nice. Thank you.

Are you recording from a microphone?

I think I'm having similar issues. Every now and then when I'm recording the audio skips and glitches and you can hear it in the track once it's done.
