Recording on wrong track at wrong place

Post by AJ Crawford » Wed Apr 01, 2020 11:59 pm

Continuously within the past week I have attempted to add a new stereo track in Audacity version 2.3.3 and start the recording at 0.00. However, it would appear that clicking record not only starts recording on a mono track that was not in the project before, but also at a time stamp at the end of the other track in the project. This is preventing me from doing virtually anything and is new as of this week. (4/1/2020) I'm running version 2.3.3 on Windows 10 with 4 GB of ram.

This sounds like the same issue as:

If so I am still planning to log a bug for this.
