Hi, I am new to Audacity and could do with some help.
I am a Hypnotherapist and have recorded a session approx. 30 minutes long and exported as an MP3 but if I try to attach to an email or in FB messenger I am told that the file is too large. Is there a way of reducing the size of the file please. I am wanting to send it to all my FB contacts as a free session.
Thank you

Re: File too large to export
A lower bitrate (or lower quality setting) will make smaller files.
If you can't get it small enough you may need to use one of the file sharing services or maybe set-up a shared Dropbox or something. Or, set-up your own website.

If you have a Google account, upload it to Google Drive, set the Share settings so that anyone with the link can view it, then set up your email (in gmail) and use the Drive button at the bottom when you are drafting. That button will take you to Drive where you can find your file, click, and a link will appear in your email draft.
