Vocal effects on only parts of the song.

Post by Northern Songwriter » Sun Feb 23, 2020 11:38 pm

Hi,

is it possible to apply vocal effects on only parts of your song in Audacity.
such as reverb on the chorus sections but not on the verses ?
also
what happens if you record your vocals fine on verse 1 and the chorus but you make a mistake on verse 2. can you just re-record that verse without affecting the rest or do you have to record the entire song again ?
Sorry for being such a greenhorn but ive not used recording programs before.

Effects are only applied to the audio selected, you can select part of a track.
