I'm reinstalling Audacity on Windows 7. I get an error message on start up
The program can't start because api-ms-win-runtime-|1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.
We'll I also got this when installing previously on my old Windows. I have been using the portable version because of this error message. that works fine for me. Just wondering. Any advantage to using this version over the portable?

I'm downloading that now. Am I going to have to reinstall Audacity? Nevermind. It's not working.
