recording from cassette

I am a newby and not a audio tech.I am recording from a old cassettes. The first cassettes went really well. On the 3rd cassette the sound is great through the computer speakers until I start recording in Audacity. Then the sound goes hollow, not as clear as the cassette sound. What do I do?
