Windows 8.1
Audacity 2.3.3
After installation (the installer for the .exe one) when I launch the application I get error dialog:
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-[1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
I've tried, but reinstalling the program didn't fix this problem. Help would be greatly appreciated ;v;

Re: System Error
Not sure but you may need to install something that I think is called "C++ runtime", it is a redistributable pakage.
Re: System Error
I also have this problem, when I goto download C++ it states that it is programming software so I dont see how the two items are related. Is there any way to fix this problem?
Re: System Error
As Ivalogic wrote, you need to update your "Visual C++ redistributable" which can be downloaded from Microsoft.
You will need the vc_redist.x86.exe version from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... -downloads
