Audacity 2.3.3

Alright lads. So i was making an EAS video for Youtube. I got the Text to speech site up wrote out the script. Turned on Audacity. Clicked play on the text to speech it starts talking. But Audacity didn't pick it up i got a flat line. This is Audacity 2.3.3. And it works the other 20- times so i don't know why. Anyone know how to fix this or am i on my own.

In the input device selection window to the right of the microphone symbol you need to choose the device through which you are hearing the sound and which is suffixed (loopback). Use preferences-devices-recording if it makes it easier to see the entire long descriptions. If you are not sure which device is playing you can left click the speaker symbol in the toolbar.

"Loopback" is only available when the "host" is set to "WASAPI".
Another alternative is to record from "Stereo Mix", if it's available (which depends on the sound card and drivers).
