Recording problem audacity/windows 10

Post by Petr » Mon Nov 18, 2019 6:31 am

For about 3 days I have a problem with Audacity, I make a metronome and record a guit (first track, mono, stereo - doesn't matter) and it writes that the sound is lost because Audacity is fighting on the processor and not saving, or saving on slow device. Hardware is ok, no HW change. When I record, I turn on the device manager and the processor and disk will not be used too much. I reinstalled Audacity several times on different versions, the problem is still there. Updating the sound card driver didn't help. Disk and RAM test ok. I use Line6 GX. The only change in PC was standard Windows Update. Using Windows 10.
