Audacity 2.3.2 Not recording or playing back audio
A technical question here, but does anyone know how to get Audacity up and running again after it doesn't record or play back audio? I've been having this problem for two days now, and I'm not sure what could have happened. I don't know whether it's my microphone Focusrite Scarlett, or something else.

Are you getting any indication of a signal on the Scarlett? I believe you should see a green LED with a signal and red with signal overload.
Do you hear anything with headphones plugged-into the interface?
...We may need some more information... Which Scarlett do you have? Exactly what microphone is plugged-in? Which input are you using?

Yes, I believe I received a signal on my interface, as it glows green and flashes red on the interface's gain knob. I didn't hear anything the first two days I had this problem, but now's day four, and it seems like I hear something. At least, when I speak into the mic. However, the problem still remains: I can't hear any audio playback in the recording. Also, if you noticed in the picture, the audio line is flat. There are no lines indicating something has been recorded. I have a Focusrite Scarlett Pro 2nd Gen (USB based) it came with the interface, microphone, and headphones
