Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Is there a way to filter sibilance?

Yes, via de-esser plug-ins.
This one is simple & quick.
This one is complex, (and can be slow), but is capable of surgical-precision.

Other de-esser plugin are available which work in Audacity in Windows. Some are free, most co$t.
