Basic echo/reverb settings

Just switched over to 2.3 and the existing settings for echo and reverb are too extreme.. Could I get a "Basic" setting for both and then I'll tweek as desired??? THANK YOU

The "Echo" effect is quite an extreme effect. It's not intended to produce a natural acoustic echo, but rather to produce a "repeat" type effect.
For a more subtle Echo effect, reduce the "Decay factor".
The Audacity Reverb effect includes 9 presets (see:
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/reverb.html)
The "Small Room" presets are fairly subtle, and can be made more subtle by decreasing the "Wet Gain (dB)" amount.
