View - History

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

The history has ceased to be reflected. Something is wrong. Please help fix it!

Only this. And all other operations doesn't reflect.

It looks like you imported a file.

Thank you! The problem was solved by simply restarting the computer. What it was - I do not know, maybe a lack of memory.

Should file export be reflected in history too? I have not export in history.

From the manual: "History lists all undoable actions performed in the current project, including importing."

Technically: The History window shows the record of "project state" changes. When a change of state is pushed to the Undo stack, it is logged in the History window.

Export cannot be undone (not "undoable") and does not change the state of the project.
