Can't open important audacity project!

Hey I tried to open one of my audacity projects but then the file had an Error opening project "Couldn't find the project data folder:"1 to 345" data". Btw I did not move any file around, all i did was save project then closed it and then couldn't open it again right away. But .. i have noticed that before i closed the file, my recording my starting to make no noise despite being connected to my microphone(which was the reason why i saved then closed the project).

That is the wrong filename. The AUP file is looking for 1 to 345_data.

yes.. that was my typo, that folder disappeared out of thin air, and i did not touch anything. I have noticed that my other projects are having problems too, one was also missing recording files, one has 700 orphaned recordings. is this a virus? I don't get it, im confused and all i want to do is to get the files back. I can't even restart recording my project properly in another file because for some reason my microphone is showing lower volume and frequencies in the new one.

I'm not going to be a lot of help. I'm a Mac elf. Isn't there a system diagnostic you can do in Win10?

If your system is unstable, there isn't a lot we can do.
