I can't open Audacity, at all. I downloaded it, I clicked on it and it displayed: "The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem."
The version is 2.3.1

Audacity requires "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 ", which is available from Microsoft here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/downloa ... x?id=48145
Note that Microsoft mainstream support for Windows 7 ended in 2015, and Windows 7 "end of life" is January next year.
