Audacity 2.3.0
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. Usually use Chrome browser.
Computer is HP p6710f desk top.
not opposed to upgrading Audacity to latest version. It's just been a long time since I tried to use this.
I do appreciate that this is free software, but I would not say that it is at all user friendly.
I am fearing many hours of very intense frustration again.
I have very very little skill with software and computers. I want to record some content from the internet.
This will contain multiple tracks. I expect there to be a few seconds of silence between each track.
My simple question is, step by baby step, exactly how to set up Audacity so that it will
create SEPERATE FILES for each track?
then, how do I turn OFF this setting?
What I need to be able to do is ultimately use my DVD burner and microphone to create
a disc. this will play a music track, then I want to insert a track of me talking on the microphone, then
next track etc.
Thank you for being polite and patient.
